Without title and author; title taken from Guilmard, p. 130. The plates, probably originally issued as an integral suite, bear the excudit of Mariette, and can therefore be dated to around or after 1710, the date at which Jean Mariette took over the Langlois stock of ornament plates issued under the title L'architecture à la mode (q.v.). There are 2 designs with scales on each plate, depicting bosquets at Versailles. BAL, Early printed books, no. 336.

Copy Notes Bound as pencil numbers 69--74 in Mariette, L'architecture à la mode (q.v.).

Binding C18th sprinkled calf, gilt tooled spine, red spine label gilt lettered 'Architec/ A La/ Mode', blind lettered 'Tome/ II', circular paper label numbered in ink '151'.
