First published in 1590 (q.v.). Imprint from colophon: 'In Venetia per Francesco Valuasense 1660. Adi 25. Maggio.' The dedication to Sophie, Duchess of Brunswick-Lüneburg is signed 'Salustio Piobbici'. This, the second edition, reprints most of the woodcuts of the first edition with a resetting of the letterpress and a new chapter on sundials, pp. [144]--147. The title and imprint are printed in a woodcut frame; the verso of the title-leaf has a second title beginning 'Dell'Architettvra Di Giovanantonio Rvsconi, nouamente ristampata. & accresciuta della pratica del fabricar gl'orologi solari. Libri Dieci. ...'.
