The issue for 25 January 1830 only, including an article (p. 28) on the forthcoming election on 26 January 1830 of a president of the Royal Academy to succeed the late Sir Thomas Lawrence and commenting on the several contenders - including the 'rumour' that 'Mr. Soane's name has been whispered as likely to be proposed.'
Copy Notes Loosely inserted in a volume of newspaper cuttings probably assembled by A.T. Bolton, seventh curator of the Museum, after 1906. The article on the R.A. election is marked with modern blue tags.
