ROYAL WEST LONDON INFIRMARY AND CHARING CROSS HOSPITAL
[Building Fund. 1829]
Building fund for the Charing Cross Hospital. ...
London (Place), C. Richards, printer, 100, St. Martin's Lane, Charing-cross,, [1829].
[8] p. ; 20.4 cm. (8º)

Printer's name from final page. Includes lists of donations to the building fund, of additional governors and subscribers in 1828 and 1829, of linen and of stewards for the anniversary festivals in 1822--28. It is preceded here (and may have been issued with) a description of the charity's objectives and list of the patrons and committee (q.v.) and a copy of the Triennial Report, 1828 (q.v.). These three items may have been issued together, but have apparently been cropped at different times, and may have had a separate existence.

Copy Notes Misbound with the inner formes folded to face outwards. Bound (12) in a collection of pamphlets together with a letter inviting Soane to become a member of the Building Committee and an earlier incarnation of the notice on the Building Fund (q.v.), and accompanied by the list of the patrons and committee members and the Triennial Report as described above.

Binding Later C19th black pebble-grained binder's cloth, gilt-lettered spine reading 'Charities'. Later numbered 'D' in a series of pamphlet volumes.

Reference Number 6667
