Strutt's Sylva Britannica was issued in parts beginning in 1822. The present prospectus is dated from Strutt's address at '34, Percy Street, Bedford Square, London, March 1st, 1826.' The price to subscribers is 15s. for each part; 'Proof Impressions on India Paper, £1. 5s.' On page [2] is a list of subscribers among whom Soane does not appear; he responded promptly to the prospectus and his name is included in the list of subscribers in the copy of the work in the Soane Museum (q.v.).
