Drop-head title. Dated from Samuel Lewis's premises at 87, Aldersgate Street, London, May 9, 1831. Subscribers to A topographical dictionary of England, 1831 (q.v.) will be charged 'only 40s. each Volume, for the Demy copies; and 50s. for the large.' Soane was a subscriber to both works, but not to the dictionaries of Scotland and Ireland announced for publication after the dictionary of Wales.

Copy Notes Folded and loosely inserted in the front of the atlas volume of A topographical dictionary of England (q.v.).

Binding C19th maroon publisher's cloth, black spine-label.
