Dedicated, by express permission, to his Majesty, King William the Fourth. Belzoni's model of the Egyptian tomb. Never before published. Prospectus for publishing a complete series of lithographic engravings from the original model of the Egyptian tomb, now in the possession of Mrs. Belzoni. Any communications or subscriptions received by Mr. Churchill, bookseller, Carlton Street, Waterloo Place.

Drop-head title. The model of the tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh Seti I was installed in the exhibition of Belzoni's findings at the Egyptian Hall in Piccadilly in May 1821, and a Description published in 1821 (q.v.); a new exhibition of the Egyptian tomb was opened at 28 Leicester Square. This undated prospectus must have been issued in 1824 or later, when news of Belzoni's death in the previous December reached England. Two hundred subscribers were sought to a work proposed to be published in twelve to fourteen numbers, at 'twenty-five shillings each, plain, or thirty-five shillings, coloured, to be paid for on delivery of each Number'. No such work is known to have been published. Page [2] lists 38 subscribers. The second, conjugate leaf is blank.
