In about 1835 Soane brought up to date his Memoirs relating to problems with his son John, John's wife and their daughter, Elizabeth (q.v.), previously detached from the longer of two versions of Soane's Plans, elevations, and perspective views, of Pitzhanger Manor-House with a title-page dated 1833 (q.v.). Copy 2 in the composite volume bound in 1919 by A. T. Bolton is the only one with the plates, 'Plans, Elevations and Sections', called for in the title and in the side-notes to the 'Description Of Pitzhanger Manor-House And Domains, As Far As They Are Connected With These Memoirs' (pp. [vii]-viii), and numbered I--VIII. Further copies of the letterpress (11 bound in wrappers, 22 unbound) with additional unbound copies of the leaf containing the description of Pitzhanger, cover-labels and variants are in Soane's archive (Mandelbrote Packet 10).
