Copy Notes Imperfect; wanting the plate recorded in ESTC. Bought with 'Vol. I.', Fables, of Æsop and other eminent mythologists, 5th ed., 1708 (q.v.) from Thomas Boone, 18 March 1815, for 3s. (Spiers Box). Engraved armorial bookplate of Sir Philip Monoux, Bart., Sandy, on front pastedown. Monoux's seat was at Sandy-place, near Biggleswade, Beds. Soane's signature appears on the front free-endpaper of both volumes.
Binding C18th blind-tooled Cambridge-style panelled calf, red spine-label.
