Bifolium. An advertisement for a "Complete Edition of Translations" of works by classical authors, divided in three series of Greek, Roman and Ancient (i.e. medieval) chronicles, printed for J. Davis, Military Classics Office from 1812--1813 onwards. 'The Corpus Historicum was originally published in Monthly Numbers, price 2s. 6d. each; but the Stock having passed into the hands of the present Proprietors, they have reduced the price of it more than one-third, and now offer it in complete Works, done up in boards, at the prices affixed.' (p. 3). Also advertised are 'D'Anville's Atlas, And Geography Of The Ancients', printed for Davis in 1815 and available half-bound for 5 guineas or in 15 numbers at 6s. each; three volumes of 'A Course Of Collegiate Education'; and 'Original Journals Of The Eighteen Campaigns Of Napoleon Bonaparte; ...', printed for J. Davis, Military Classics Office, and sold by Sherwood, Neely, and Jones.

Copy Notes Tipped in as issued at the end of a copy of vol. II of the edition of The historical library of Diodorus the Sicilian, 1814 (q.v.) and within another 4-pp. bifolium of advertisements for works available from Sherwood, Neely and Jones dated 1 January 1821 (q.v.).
