Folded quarter-sheet, verso and conjugate leaf blank. Drop-head title. Undated printed letter, signed at the end by George John Crouch, who states that he was 'only 14 Years of Age when I commenced this arduous undertaking, with such materials, and that too without any drawing to work from.' The model was to be viewed 'at my Father's Residence, No 33, Great Wild Street, Lincoln's Inn Fields'.

Copy Notes Previously folded as an envelope addressed in ink to Sir John Soane / Lincolns Inn Fields. Soane was knighted on 21 September 1831, giving a post quem date for the present invitation.
