Sec'. and dated 'Crosby Hall, Bishopsgate, June 5, 1833'. An earlier prospectus giving an account of the house is dated December 1st, 1832 (q.v.).
Copy Notes Accompanied by an invitation to a general meeting of the committee and subscribers to be held in Crosby Hall on 14 June signed by William Cotton, probably the merchant and philanthropist William Cotton, F.R.S. (1786--1866), addressed to Soane and endorsed by him with the date 1833.
