Printed card with engraved plan on the verso. Drop-head title. The botanist William Curtis, editor of The Botanical Magazine, moved his botanical garden from Lambeth Marsh to Brompton in 1789 to escape smoke pollution. The plan contains page references in the range from p. 1 to p. 106 to the 'Catalogue', possibly that published in 1803 by W. Bulmer.
