Quarter-sheet, verso blank. Drop-head title. Undated, lithographically printed letter signed in MS. Jasper Tomsett Judge / Saturday morng, soliciting support to promote the circulation or attract advertisements to the newspaper. The British Press, or morning literary advertiser began publication on 26 January 1803 and ceased on 31 October 1826. Judge wrote to Soane on 29 March 1830 drawing his attention to an article in a Sunday newspaper 'published under my entire control', on the 'unfeeling attacks' on Soane in connection with the New Law Courts in Westminster (Priv. Corr. I.J.4).
