Printer's imprint from title-page verso and colophon. Half-title: Report of the National School for Boys of St. Giles and Bloomsbury, 1831--1832. 'Mr Basevi' is listed among the subscribers to the Building Fund, 1829; an identification with George Basevi (1794--1845) who was Soane's pupil from December 1810 to June 1816 is uncertain, and a contemporary report of the Bedford Free School (q.v.) records contributions from 'Mr and Mrs N. Basevi ...'. Soane was a vestryman of the parish of St Giles-in-the-Fields from February 1802.

Binding C20th maroon morocco-grained book cloth, spine gilt-lettered 'S. Giles's Parish'.
