Copy Notes Bound (3) with copies of the Rules and regulations for the management of the Jews' Hospital, 1808 (q.v.) and the Report of the managers ... for 1813 (q.v.). The presence of this material in Soane's library may be connected with the architect David Mocatta (1806--1882), who was apprenticed to Soane from 1821 to 1827 (Bolton, Portrait, p. 299), and the name of whose grandfather Abraham Mocatta (1730--1800) appears in the list of original subscribers to the fund. The names of other Mocatta family members also appear in lists of donations received.

Binding C19th half red roan, marbled-paper boards, gilt-ruled spine without label or lettering.
