Issued in 48 numbers. Concludes with Napoleon's exile to Elba; the publication date of 1814 is suggested by the 'Conclusion' concerning his family connections: '... Lucien has lately arrived in Rome, where the public opinion and the favour of His Holiness the Pope, really seem to have raised him in his rank in society, notwithstanding the downfall of his brother.' On 18 August 1814 Lucien Bonaparte was made Prince of Canino by Pope Pius VII. The Register of Preservation Surrogates records two pages of advertisements for the Albion Press following the index at the end of vol. II, not present in the Soane copy or included in the above collation.
