KEMBLE FAREWELL BANQUET SUBSCRIPTION COMMITTEE

Octavo hand-slip, verso blank. Tickets, 'including the dinner and present,' were to be issued at two guineas each by the 'Committee, at the Piazza Coffee House.' The farewell banquet was given at the Freemasons' Tavern on 27 June 1817 with Lord Holland in the chair. There is no evidence of Soane's attendance in the Soane Museum Archive.
