Preface dated August 1, 1751 (the year of the first recorded Edinburgh edition). Cocker's Arithmetick was first published in 1678, and at least fifty-five editions had appeared by 1758, not counting those printed in Dublin, Glasgow or as here, Edinburgh. The final leaf of prelims is a blank. ESTC n2982.
