Title and imprint vary. The first two volumes have the title and imprint reading as above. In the remaining volumes the title-page reads: The debates and proceedings of the British House of Commons, from ... to ... and the collection as a whole forms a continuation to Chandler's History and proceedings of the House of Commons from the Restoration to the present time, published 1742--44 (q.v.), to 1 October 1774. Volumes III--V are dated 1770; volumes VI--IX, 1772; vol. X, 1774, and vol. XI, 1775. Volumes III--V and VII--IX have no name in the imprint, and volumes X and XI name only J. Almon. Only the first, second and eleventh volumes have a volume statement on the title-page, but all volumes are numbered in the signature lines. Volumes III and VI additionally each have a half-title leaf reading 'The Debates And Proceedings Of The British House of Commons, From 1746, to the Death of ... George II. in 1760. In Three Volumes. (From 1761, to 1772, In Four Volumes.) By the Editors of the former Collections of Parliamentary Debates.' The appendix containing a speech against the land tax by Joseph Danvers in 1727 ([4] pp.) is inserted at the end of the second volume in the Soane copy; it is found elsewhere in other copies. There are publisher's advertisements at the end of volumes V, VIII, IX, and XI. ESTC t145286.

Copy Notes Inserted in vol. IX, pp. 248--49 is a folded leaf with a printed account of the debate of 23 March 1773 on the affairs of the East India Company from an unidentified publication pasted down in columns on both sides, with MS. caption 23d March. The following pages have occasional marginal marks of emphasis and corrections in ink, probably in the same hand (not Soane's) and some cropped at the fore-edge.
