Anonymous. The divine at the Savoy Church was Anthony Horneck, D.D. Chaplain in Ordinary to Their Majesties. Soane probably acquired it because of its association with the London square in which he lived from 1794 until his death in 1827. Hooked on Books 6.1. Wing T2478B; ESTC r18553.

Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on the title-page at foot of imprint 25 febr. and with the addition in ink to the year of imprint 1691/0. Front free-endpaper inscribed in ink with bookseller's cyphers and price(?) 5/.

Binding Late C18th or early C19th half black-stained calf, marbled-paper boards, spine-title reading 'Evil Spirit. Lond. 1691'.
