Anonymous. By Sir James Porter. First published in 1768. The author, an Irish-born diplomat, was ambassador at Constantinople from 1746 to 1762, and later a fellow of the Royal Society. ESTC t136510.

Binding C18th sprinkled calf, neo-classical gilt-tooled spine, red morocco spine-label gilt-lettered 'Porter / On The / Turks'.
