Though termed an atlas, this work, first published in 1807 chiefly consists of genealogical tables and time-charts rather than maps. Includes the title-page of the edition of 1814 reading ' ... New Edition, enlarged ... by C. Gros, ... and J. Aspin, ...'; also the contents page and the dedication to Princess Charlotte of Wales. Errata at foot of p. 8. The hand-coloured plates are numbered 1-64, with additional plates 3*, 4* and an additional plate numbered 31; there is also an unnumbered letterpress appendix leaf for plates 15--16 and one for plate 47.

Copy Notes Subscription with J. Barfield commenced with a payment of 8 guineas, 31 March 1810 (Archive 7A/15/43), and was completed by a payment of 1 guinea, 6 June 1823 for 'the 4 additional maps, title-page and table of contents in completion of the Atlas'. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.11; also, on 9 June 1823: Archive 7/C/25/2.)
