R.F.H = R.F. Herrey, possibly the pseudonym of Robert Harrison. At foot of imprint: Cum priuilegio Regiæ Maiestatis. Title-page has decorated head piece and a vignette with squirrels; woodcut tail piece at head of colophon. Preface dated 22 December 1578. The first table in two, the second in three columns. Issued with the Bible (q.v.). ESTC s102147.

Copy Notes Bound after the edition of Barker's Geneva Bible, 1605 (q.v.), as issued. Doodle in ink on the title-page. Final leaf torn and repaired with loss of text.

Binding C18th(?) calf, sprinkled covers with stencilled urn picked out with uneven blind-tooled decorations, gilt double-ruled spine, red morocco spine-label, Richard Cosway's gilt monogram 'CR' (12x8 mm) in top panel.
