Translation of: Physices elementa mathematica, experimentis confirmata, first printed in Leiden, 1720--1721. An introduction to Sir Isaac Newton's philosophy. The two volumes of Desaguliers's English translation were first published in 1720 and 1721 respectively. Pages 370, 371 and 374, 375 of vol. II incorrectly numbered 388, 389 and 392, 393. ESTC t128255.
