Copy 2: Bound in at the end is the title-page only of: The pleasant art of money-catching ... The third edition, John Lever, 1782, with bookseller's advertisement on verso.
Binding Copy 1: C18th quarter sheep, marbled-paper boards.
Copy 2: Early C19th tree calf, gilt-ruled spine, red morocco spine-label, yellow fore-edges. Text block augmented by a substantial number of blanks watermarked '1803'. This may be the copy of 'Smarts Tables - calf Lettd' bound by J. Wingrave for 2s. 9d. on 7 April 1805. (Spiers Box, Miscellaneous booksellers).
