Anonymous. By S. Dunham Whitehead. Forms no. VIII of Murray's (later Tegg's) 'Family Library'. This is a follow-up to two volumes of John Gibson Lockhart's History of Napoleon Buonaparte published earlier in 1829 as the inaugural volumes of the Family Library (q.v.). The portrait of Soult is engraved by E. Finden after H. Grevedon, those of Talleyrand and Murat are engraved by W.C. Edwards. Final leaf contains a list of 'Volumes Of The Family Library, Already Published.', dated December 1829.
