Anonymous. Attributed to James Rennie and J.O. Westwood. Forms no. VII, LI of Murray's (later Tegg's) 'Family Library'. Final leaf of advertisements for 'Works On Natural History Published By Mr. Murray, ...' at the end of vol. I. Volume I was first published in 1829. Volume II is the first edition (on upper cover: 'New Edition') and has imprint: London: John Murray, Albemarle Street: and sold by Thomas Tegg and Son, Cheapside. In 1834 John Murray sold the remaining unsold volumes of his Family Library to Thomas Tegg, who continued to print new titles in the series.
Copy Notes Volume II with bookseller's printed label on first pastedown reading 'Sold by T. & W. Boone'.
