First edition 1770. Contents for all six volumes in vol. VI. 'The life of Plutarch', vol. I, pp. [xii]--xlv. Publisher's advertisements at end of vol. II. Index in vol. VI is unpaginated. The sixth edition of 1801 is also in Soane's library (q.v.), and was evidently used by him in researching ancient architecture. ESTC n20526.
