After publishing this and other works of travel and historical anecdotes, Wraxhall gained notoriety in 1815 with the publication of his scurrilous Historical memoirs of my own time, leading to a brief imprisonment for libel. ESTC t83849.

Copy Notes The Soane copy as described in the above collation lacks the leaf of publisher's advertisements at the end of vol. II recorded in ESTC. Bought from Thomas Boone for 14s., 16 July 1807. (Spiers Box).
