A translation of the Comte de Ségur's Histoire de Napoléon et de la Grande Armée pendant l'année 1812, first published in Paris, 1824. The lithographic plates including portraits of Napoleon, Murat, Czar Alexander I, and Marshal Ney are printed by C. Hullmandel.

Copy Notes Imperfect; wanting the half-titles. Inscribed on front pastedowns in pencil 2 Vols 28/-.

Binding C19th half olive calf, blind roll-tooled borders, marbled-paper boards, gilt double-ruled and blind roll-tooled spines, black spine-labels.
