Volume II only of Digby's translation, first published in 1714. In two parts, each with separate pagination but continuous register. With the index to the whole. Volume I only has the collective title-page as above, dated 1726; each volume has a volume title-page dated 1725. Volume II continues the register of vol. I and is itself in two parts, each with separate pagination but continuous register; the second part comprises 'The Additions'. The plates are signed 'P.F.sc.' [i.e. P. Fourdrinier]. ESTC t166145.
Copy Notes Imperfect; wanting vol. I. Rear free-endpaper is inscribed in ink with (?) library shelfmark.
Binding C18th sprinkled calf, red and black spine-labels. Former label on upper cover is lost but leaves a shadow.
