Booth's translation of Diodorus was first published in 1700.

Copy Notes Bought from Ogle, Duncan & Co., for £1 1s. 6d., 12 February 1822. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.4.3). Volume II has two bifolia of advertisements for works sold by Sherwood, Neely, and Jones tipped in at the end, as issued, the first (q.v.) dated 1 January 1821 advertising Thomas Myers, A new and comprehensive system of modern geography which completed publication in 1822 and James Jennings, The family cyclopaedia, 1821; the second (q.v.), undated, advertising the 'Corpus Historicum' collection of translations of classical authors including the present work, and three further titles. Untrimmed edges.
