Petworth House, Sussex: designs for portico and prospect tower for 3rd Earl of Egremont, 1814, 1816 (3)
Notes
Two of Soane's designs for an entrance to the west side of the house at Petworth have survived but none were executed. His designs for a prospect tower, from which to view Capability Browns' landscape work seem not have been carried out. Office records note that 'no charge ever made'.
