Adams Detection (Sketch from Paradise Lost)
Museum number: XP2

This drawing was framed after Soane's death, by the first Curator, George Bailey, in 1839.
In 1930, this drawing was hanging, with its pair, in the Monk's Cell in the Basement along with a pair of drawings by John Glover, in an interesting fairly short-lived post-Soane curatorial arrangement.
