Curatorial note

A vase that, with a of matching cachepots (X709 and X711), forms a garniture on the South Drawing Room mantlepiece. The set is brown glazed Staffordshire, decorated in gold. This vase is decorated with Chinese figures in a landscape with a bridge, butterflies or moths and flowers.
