A perspective of one of Soane's schemes for a new Houses of Parliament of the 1790s, drawn later by George Bailey, who worked in Soane's Office from May 1806, first as a pupil and later as an Assistant. On Soane's death in January 1837 he became the first Curator of Sir John Soane's Museum, in accordance with Soane's wishes.
