Both of the colour schemes shown in these two alternative designs for the circular room ceiling (Adam volumes 12/156 and 12/157) would have both matched Adam's scheme for the walls (Adam volume 50/89). Three of these drawings are inscribed as being for Lady FitzRoy, so perhaps the circular room was to be her dressing room. None of Adam's schemes for General Fitzroy were executed.
