The entrance front has three bays and measures approximately 37 feet 3 inches high. The design corresponds with the plan in drawing 2. The front door and the two end bays have round arches surrounding the windows and door, but the springing point of the central arch is lower than those in the end bays. Two alternative designs for panel pilasters are shown. A balustraded parapet is over the centre and alternative parapet designs are shown at the end bays. The hipped roof has three dormers on the south front, one shown with a pediment added in pencil. The house is raised on a rusticated basement with four steps up to the front door.

On the cross section, a garret has been added by Soane in pencil, with a 'chamber' and 'passage' inside. The chamber is approximately 7 feet wide and the passage is 3 feet 3 inches wide. The arches surrounding the front door have also been altered in pencil, with dimensions added in pencil.
