Design for a ceiling for the great drawing room (now the portico room), 1776, as executed (1)

A ceiling executed to this design by Adam (Adam volume 14/13) survives in situ in the great drawing room (now the portico room). However, seven roundels and four oblong tablets, possibly executed by Antonio Zucchi, have since been removed and the Adam colour scheme replaced with white and gold.
