Mr Palmer: unexecuted designs for an unknown house, c1758-68 (6)
c1758-68
Mr Palmer is unknown, but Bolton has suggested that he might be Palmer, steward to the Duke of Bedford. The intended location for this house is not known, and the scheme is not thought to have been executed.
The drawings are undated, but their appearance and style suggests that they were made during the early years of the Adam office, and have here been given a speculative date of c1758-68.
