Designs for the Deputy Register's House, 1789, unexecuted (6)

Adam’s design for the Deputy Register’s House comprised a three-bay detached building, containing generous living accommodation for the Deputy Register behind the two western bays of the block, and an Apartment for the Lord Register in the eastern bay.

Designed in 1789, the building was intended for a plot to the north east of the Register House on Princes Street, but it was not executed.
