Design for a table, 1765 (1)

According to Harris this design is 'the most severely classical of all Adam's tables', and the inscription suggests that the table frame design was intended to support two porphyry slabs. As with the majority of Adam's chimneypiece designs for Kippington, it is not known if these tables were executed.
