Preliminary design for the chimney wall for the dining room, c1761-62, unexecuted (1)

The dining room is a rectangular room with apsidal ends in the south range of the house, adjacent to the ante room and the drawing room.

Adam volume 27/34 must be a very early preliminary design for the room as it shows doors (possibly blind) in the end bays instead of the executed niches. Alternatively, this may be a design for the private dining room in the north range, which Adam had intended but did not execute.
