First published in this form in 1802 in succession to a series of directories commencing with John Almon's New Peerage, 1769--90, subsumed by Debrett. Additional engraved title in vol. I reading 'Debrett's Correct Peerage, of England Scotland & Ireland: with the Extinct & Forfeited Peerages Of The Three Kingdoms, A List of their Family Names, Second Titles &c. And a translation of their Mottos'. The engraved portrait frontispiece of George III is by V. Woodthorpe. The 44 leaves of plates are paginated A--H, 1--80 and signed A--L⁴. Woodcut head-pieces.
