III: De l'imprimerie de Firmin Didot. Text in French and English on facing pages. Townley's translation into French of Samuel Butler's mock heroic poem first appeared in 1757. The 'Notes sur Hudibras' in each of the three volumes are by Pierre-Henri Larcher.
