The half-title is engraved. Parallel Italian and English texts, the latter a revision of Fanshawe's translation which first appeared in 1647. The Italian and English texts were also issued separately (see ESTC t126123 and n8283). The leaves in the foliated sequence are identically numbered on both sides. The frontispiece and the additional engraved title-plate are both included in the pagination, but the plates are not. ESTC records six leaves of publisher's advertisements at the end. ESTC n19933.
Copy Notes The Soane copy as described is without the six leaves of publisher's advertisements recorded in ESTC.
