First published in London, 1777, the dictionary went through several editions in London and Venice. Printer's statements of Luke Hansard (vols I and III) and J. Crowder (vol. II) on title-page verso and colophon. Gatherings B--M12 in vol. II are unpaginated. Volume I contains the Italian before the English and the French; vol. II, the English before the French and the Italian; vol. III, the French before the Italian and the English.
