First published in 1642. The plates are numbered 2--35 bottom right and include engraved captions. The engraved title of the first edition was replaced for the present edition by a letterpress title-page, printed in red and black and featuring the publisher's (?) elaborate monogram in a decorative engraved vignette, which is counted as pl. 1 in the letterpress list of contents (p.[3]).
