Drop-head title below printed letter dated 'Birmingham, January 1st, 1821.' beginning 'Sir, I take the liberty of submitting to your notice a list of Works executed by me in Stained Glass, ... and at the same time soliciting the Patronage of yourself and Friends.' This letter is signed in manuscript Wm. Raphael Eginton.

Copy Notes Formerly folded, sealed and addressed on final blank page To / J Soane Esqr RA / Lincolns Inn Fields / London (postmarks dated 1822). Bound (13) in a collection of pamphlets on painting.

Binding C19th maroon goatskin, blind-ruled borders and spine, marbled-paper boards. Numbered '111' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
